La Stella is a small modern boutique hotel with 27 exclusive apartments & suites, with all the required facilities for ideal holidays for families and couples. It is located in Platanes village, 4km from the town of Rethymno and just 400 meters from the blue flag awarded sandy beach of Platanes.

The location of the hotel is in Platanias (Platanes) area of Rethymno city.
Rethymno is in the middle of Crete ideal to explore the whole island and has easy access from both airports - Heraklion intern. airport (HER) and Chania intern. airport (CHA).

La Stella has 13 one room studios, 12 two room apartments and 2 three room suites. The elegantly decorated rooms offer all the comforts and amenities for a quality holiday for couples and families.
Simple luxury is what characterizes the hotels rooms, selected furniture, zebrano and wenge wood, granite and stone are some materials used in the decoration of the rooms, along with warm colors create a cool ambience. La Stella’s two room apartments have a private bedroom and a living room, total size around 45 square meters, and accommodates from two till four persons.

La Stella’s three room suites have two private bedrooms and a cozy living room with elegant furniture. Total size around 90 square meters and accommodates from 4-6 persons. The balcony surrounding the suites offers magnificent view of the sea, and an aerial view of the village.
Each offers a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge, washing machine, cooking stove, microwave, coffee machine, water heater, toaster etc. Bathroom with Jacuzzi, hairdryer, fire place, lounge area with sofas, fully air-conditioned, safe box, 42in screen sat TV, DVD/CD player, telephone, free Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Ecological sleeping with beds ,mattresses, pillows and linens from Coco-Mat.

From Piraeus, there are frequent timetables to Rethymno during all year.The distance from Piraeus to Rethymno is 8 hours. Rethymno is also connected to the Cyclades islands.There are also plenty schedules every day from the ports of Chania and Heraklion connecting to Piraues and Cycaldes islands.
Visit Crete by Airplane
From the Eleftherios Venizelos airport at Spata Athens, there are flights to the town of Hania, and Hraklion, through the year. The duration of the flight is 40 minutes. From the airports there is bus service to Rethymno.
